Probably one of the most fun projects I’ve ever worked on. I was tasked with doing the full online editing for this faux-retro music video for ExpressVPN. I teamed up with the director to make sure his vision comes to life and provides humor and a cheesy 80’s vibe by using almost every effect in the library. I teamed up with the wonderful graphic designers in my studio to make titles and typographic units that stand out and have a lot of personality. I’ve also teamed up with my 3D artist colleague to do hairstyling on a cat, which I then animated in blender. I’ve done a bit of everything on this one, from 3D modeling and animation to motion graphics, rotoscoping and even a bit of illustration for the backgrounds of some shots.
